FAQ

How do I place an order?

A.Click on Order Form under menu and send me the details of your order to begin the process. Please allow 72 hours for me to respond with availability and pricing. Check to ensure my response was not sent to your spam/junk mail.

If at all possible I ask that orders be placed at least 2 weeks (14 days) in advance to allow for planning and gathering materials/ingredients needed. But please don't hesitate to reach out in case I have an opening and can accommodate your request. The sooner the better to secure your date on the calendar.

How do I pay for my order?

A.For Custom Orders an invoice will be sent to you via Square through text or email. You can make payments online through this secure service.

FULL payment is due at the time of booking to secure pick-up date. This is a non-refundable, transferable retainer.

I need to cancel - what are my options?

A.Please let me know as soon as possible if your plans have changed. Cancellation must be made at least 10 days prior to pick-up so we can either reschedule your order or apply your payment to a future order within the next 6 months.

How are cookies made?

A.I operate under the Washington Cottage Food Law. All cookies are made in my home kitchen that may process common food allergens such as tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, soy, wheat, milk, fish, and crustacean shellfish.

Cookies are accompanied with detailed ingredient labels. However, if allergies are a concern I would advise you to seek another baker that can better meet your needs.

I do not currently offer gluten free/dairy free/nut free/vegan cookies.

How long will the cookies stay fresh?

A.All cookies are heat sealed in cello bags to lock in freshness. They will keep fresh for 2-3 weeks. Simply store them at room temperature, in an airtight container, away from sources of heat. DO NOT refrigerate.

If you would like to freeze your cookies, instructions can be found below.

How are cookie designs developed?

A.My best work happens when I am given creative freedom by my customers. Your theme and any inspiration/reference pictures you provide will serve to establish a general look or style for your order.

The designs shown in my gallery section are the end result of customers providing initial ideas and then allowing me creative freedom. I am confident I can do the same for your event.

I do NOT produce trademark/copyright images. However, I would love to work with you to create a design related to the same themes. The only exception would be business owners who would like their company logo on a cookie.

How do I get my cookies?

A.Local pick-up arrangements will be made after the order is confirmed. I provide two pick-up days each week. Choose a day BEFORE your event that works best for you.

Note: Local pick-up/delivery only - no shipping.

Do you do pre-sales or pop-up sales?

A.Yes! I typically do pre-sales around the holidays. Check my website or Instagram page for more information. I usually advertise these events 2-3 weeks ahead of a major holiday.

What is a cottage law operation?

A.It is a small scale bakery, usually operated out of someone's home. I have been licensed by WSDA Food Safety and Consumer Services to conduct my business from my home following strict guidelines. Unfortunately, this includes limiting my sales within Washington state only.
